Class of 2020 Profile - Meet Mekhi.

Mekhi is a senior at Union-Endicott this year and will be attending Alfred State College next year to pursue a degree in construction management. Mekhi is a two sport athlete playing football (senior night) and basketball (vs JC, vs OFA, senior night).

His favorite memory from high school was when he was pulled up to varsity in 10th grade and they went on to sectionals. His favorite quote comes from the great Michael Jordon who said "Talent wins games but teamwork and intelligence wins championships".

When we shot Mekhi's senior session, we shot with his foster brother Troy. We started at Cheri A. Lindsey Memorial Park in Binghamton, then the campus at BU and ended with a quick stop at the UE campus in Endicott. Mekhi and Troy both remembered their favorite part of the shoot being when I made them race each other down a ramp at BU; elbows flying, shoving each other, and both nearly ending up in a pile on the ground. Good times…
