Class of 2020 Profile - Meet Lindsey.
Lindsey is a senior at Vestal High School this year and will be attending SUNY Oswego next year majoring in Computer Science. Her dream is to become a video game developer. Her favorite memories from high school are a toss up, it's either 1st period Chemistry with Mr Arbuiso or playing cards and Uno with her friends during lunch. Lindsey is also honored to have been selected as this year's recipient of the Katie Greene "Never Give Up" Hockey Award.
Lindsey has been the goalie on several ice hockey teams throughout high school - Vestal (Game shots here), Binghamton Jr Devils 18UAA and 18UA, Syracuse Nationals 2002 Girls, and Ithaca Stars 16U. Off the ice, she also played goalie for Vestal JV Field Hockey and participated in SADD and YES Leads. If you know Lindsey, you know that she loves the band Green Day and had her last goalie mask customized as a tribute to the members of the band, their music, and their albums. Her first customized mask had a tribute to her favorite professional goaltender, Rick DiPietro of the NY Islanders, and she was lucky enough to meet him in 2013 and get him to sign the back plate. Her favorite quote is from that meeting with Rick DiPietro, who said Work hard and make lots of saves".
We shot Lindsey's session in studio and then we took to the ice in the Broome County Arena for some great action shots and some portraits in full gear. When we asked what her favorite part of the session was, she said "Having goalie pics taken at the Broome County Arena and action shots from a game vs Maine Endwell at BCC".
