Sean Murphy Studios is a full-service portrait studio servicing the Southern Tier and Whitney Point School District. We create beautiful and bold senior portraits for many of your classmates and we would love to work with you.

Class Photos

While we are not the official photographer of class photos for your school, you can still take advantage of our services and get amazing photos of your student.  Our personal picture day sessions can be your opportunity to get the images you want and to support a local small business.

Sports Team Photos

We are the official provider of team photos for many local youth leagues. If your team has an upcoming photo day, you can preorder your team photos here:

If you like the quality of the work we do, we encourage you to talk to your youth leagues and the athletics office at your school and ask them to use our services.

Whitney Point Senior Yearbook Photos

We offer quick and easy in-studio sessions for Whitney Point yearbook photos. Each senior needs to have 2 photos submitted.  Both should be vertical photos.  One should be a “headshot” with no hands, hats, props, etc. (similar to an underclass photo but the background can be anything).  The other is the “informal” which can have props, hands, hats, instruments, sports equipment, etc. (no weapons allowed). As long as it is a full-size image, it usually works in the yearbook program. We take these portraits right in our studio and they are then re-touched to take care of any blemishes. We work closely with Mrs. Thomas to make sure your yearbook photo is placed in the yearbook for you to cherish for years to come. We offer these sessions for the low price of $10 as a stand-alone option. If you are interested in any of our senior portrait collections, a yearbook photo is included as part of the collection price.

Whitney Point Senior Portraits

We specialize in edgy portraits with bold editing that includes stunning graphics.  We pride ourselves on our full-service approach.  From the start, you will feel our desire to help you through the process. 

Every one of our sessions includes a selection of prints and/or digital images. There are no hidden fees or gotcha’s along the way.

We believe photographs should have an impact on the viewer, an emotional response, a wow!  We strive to put that in every gallery of images.  Using the most advanced camera equipment and lighting technologies, interesting locations and exciting props, we are able to transform images from ordinary to extraordinary.  We are always trying something new and exciting to give our seniors something memorable.  We have employed some “outside the box” tactics to create dramatic images like smearing a football player in mud, splashing water out of a drumhead, and tossing ten pounds of flour in the air for some amazing powder effects.

We use the latest digital image tools to create custom graphics for many of our seniors.  These images can focus on different aspects of their life including sports, music, performing arts, and even video games.  We digitally put these seniors in the spotlight, place them in fantasy worlds, and make stunning collages that bring all of their interests into one image.

Senior Portrait Pricing and Specials

We have a variety of packages that are tailored to suit every family’s needs and budget.

The Silver Collection includes a 15-minute session inside or outside the studio property and gives you 5 prints, any size you like up to 8x10 for only $100.

The Gold Collection includes a 30-minute session inside or outside the studio property and gives you 10 prints, any size you like up to 8x10 and a smartphone app for only $200.

The Platinum Collection includes a 60-90 minute session at 1-2 locations of your choice and includes a smartphone app, social media digital files, and 15 prints, any size up to 11x14 for $300.

The Senior Pass includes a 60-90 minute session at 1-2 locations of your choice and includes a smartphone app, social media digital files, and 50 FREE PRINTS any size up to 8x10 (after that they are only $1 each for the entire senior year) for $400.
